Apple’s Beats by Dre is building on K-pop’s global surge with a new special-edition collaboration featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim.
The company announced today it has partnered with the South Korean singer to release the limited-edition Beats Solo 4 Ruby Red on-ear headphones, arriving September 5 worldwide. This version transforms the standard Solo 4 into a collector’s must-have item. The headphones come in a vivid ruby shade that visually echoes Jennie’s solo era.
It features two detachable ribbon bows, a matching carrying case, and artist-inspired symbols embellishing one of the UltraPlush ear cushion—a first for Beats. It’s a piece of audio hardware that fuses cutting-edge tech design with pop culture and fashion, making Jennie’s album aesthetic a wearable statement.

Priced at $199.99, the JENNIE edition Solo 4 will be available to purchase on Apple’s online store and select flagship Apple Stores in Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Seoul. Best Buy will also carry them in the U.S.A., while South Korean fans can buy through Coupang.
For launch, Apple Stores will host listening sessions where visitors can sample a spatial audio playlist curated by Jennie, creating a unique music-and-hardware moment focused on her sound.
The collab campaign comes with a cinematic film highlighting the headphones through bold visuals. It follows a viral teaser posted August 30 on Beats’ YouTube channel titled “JENNIE X Beats | Something New is About to Bloom.”
The video features flowers blooming from a striking red Solo 4 pair, symbolizing the blossoming of Jennie’s solo artistry. This rollout build on last year’s campaign, where Jennie’s rap performance for Beats Solo Buds gained wide traction across digital platforms.
While Beats has a history of teaming with high-profile talent for limited editions, the JENNIE collaboration stands out for its integration of culture and technology.
