NYC trio Princess Goes unveils epic yet intimate single “Stranger,” marking a new chapter of music rooted in personal evolution and human connection.
A cinematic offering built on 90s grunge bass lines and hazy Britpop sensibilities, the expansive production moves steadily towards a soaring finish that feels like a celebration of reconnection. Weaving an epiphanic message of kindness and curiosity, the track is underpinned by the warmth of friendship.
Having first met onstage over a decade ago while performing in the award-winning rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Princess Goes – consisting of vocalist, lyricist, musician, and actor Michael C. Hall, keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen, and drummer Peter Yanowitz have shaped up as an avant-indie act led by pure passion and the shared joy of creating together.
With an EP and two full-length albums already to their name, the group head towards the release of third full-length, which has been shaped as a culmination of their evolving artistry.
Heartfelt, visceral and authentic, Princess Goes continues to charm us with familiarity and mystery all at once.
