Anna Moon & The Stars shares uplifting reminder that heal at our own pace on "Bad Habit"

Americana singer-songwriter Anna Moon & the Stars offers up a heartfelt reminder that healing isn’t measured by speed but by perseverance on stirring single “Bad Habit.”

Built around poignant lyrics and layered sonics spanning heartland rock and dreamy Americana, the track delivers a striking ode to Anna’s younger self as it embraces the detours, heartbreaks, and setbacks of life as essential parts of becoming who we are meant to be.

With expansive Americana instrumentation and warming vocals, the track is as vulnerable as it is tender. Intimate yet universal in its exploration of the toxic belief that we need to finding hope and healing according to someone else’s timeline, the track weaves emotionally rich storytelling and an uplifting vibe together to create a transformative musical experience.

Speaking of the track, she says “”Bad Habit is a love letter to my younger self, my inner child. It’s what I would say if I could go back in time; but it’s also what I say to myself today because that little girl is still very much alive in me. This song and its message were a mantra for me while finishing the record. “We made it through the worst part baby, you’re not late, you’re right on time.” Nothing in my life has gone the way I expected, and for a long time I blamed that on trauma. Now I realize I was never late. I’ve always been right on time.”

Moving past the regrets of life to embrace the liberation of who you truly are, the soaring number urges us to leave our inner critic behind in pursuit of self-confidence.

Delivering an enchanting peek at her upcoming debut full-length album, Oh My God! It’s a Resurrection, Anna Moon & the Stars beckons heartbreak, survival and everything in between with her profoundly personal artistry.
