Daniel Radcliffe and Megan Thee Stallion Team Up in New NBC Sitcom

Megan Thee Stallion is stepping into sitcom territory once again — this time as Daniel Radcliffe’s on-screen love interest in NBC’s upcoming sports comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. The series stars Tracy Morgan as a disgraced former NFL star and marks another unexpected, buzzworthy casting move for the network.

NBC recently dropped the official trailer for the show, offering audiences a first look at Radcliffe alongside Morgan. The network has now confirmed that Megan will appear in a future episode of the inaugural season, playing Denise—a recently divorced mother who sparks a flirtation with Radcliffe’s character, Arthur Tobin.

Radcliffe stars as an award-winning documentary filmmaker hired to chronicle the attempted public comeback of Reggie Dinkins, once a football hero and now a fallen figure trying to repair his image after a gambling scandal derails his career. As Reggie pushes to reclaim the admiration of fans and the respect of his family, the series promises sharp humor layered with personal reckoning and emotional fallout.

NBC gave viewers an early taste of the sitcom with a special preview airing on Sunday, January 18, immediately following NFL playoff coverage. The official series premiere arrives Monday, February 23 at 8 p.m., with an encore of the pilot followed by a brand-new episode at 8:30 p.m. New episodes will continue to air Mondays at 8:30 p.m. throughout the season, with next-day streaming available on Peacock.

Alongside Morgan and Radcliffe, the ensemble cast includes Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall. The show also boasts an impressive guest lineup featuring Heidi Gardner, Ronny Chieng, Anna Camp, Corbin Bernsen, Craig Robinson, and Michael Kosta.

Behind the scenes, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins carries serious comedy pedigree. Robert Carlock and Sam Means serve as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers, with Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Eric Gurian, and David Miner also executive producing.

Megan’s casting continues her steady expansion into acting, following roles in Dicks: The Musical, Good Girls, and P-Valley, as well as her memorable double-duty appearance as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Outside the screen, Megan recently secured a legal victory against blogger Milagro Gramz over the spread of deepfake pornographic content. Her lawyer, Mari Henderson, stated in a statement, “We are thankful for the jury’s commitment to reinforcing the importance of truth, accountability and responsible commentary on social media. This verdict sends a clear message that spreading dangerous misinformation carries significant consequences.”
