The nominations for the Actors Awards 2026 – formerly known as the SAG Awards – are in.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller One Battle After Another leads the way with seven nods including Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro all earning individual nominations. The cast has also been nominated in the ‘Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture’ category, with the stunt ensemble also earning a nomination.
Sinners – Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror – holds five nominations with other films like Hamnet, Frankenstein and Marty Supreme have been nominated in three categories each.
On the television side, Apple’s comedy series The Studio leads nominations with five nods including for Seth Rogen as well as Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O’Hara in the lead comedy actor and actress categories. followed by Adolescence with four.
Social media has been buzzing with congratulations for The White Lotus which has also earned four nominations including the whole cast in the ‘Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series’ category. Hit procedural drama The Pitt has also been nominated in the same category, with Noah Wyle earning a nod in the actors category.
In the lead actor category, DiCaprio faces Michael B Jordan, Timothée Chalamet, Ethan Hawke and Jesse Plemons. Meanwhile, Infiniti is up against Rose Byrne, Emma Stone, Kate Hudson and Jessie Buckley in the lead actress category.
Other hits like Stranger Things and Squid Game have earned nominations for their stunts.
In addition, iconic actor Harrison Ford will be honoured with the ‘SAG Life Achievement Award.’
