New Music Friday is here, and this week’s releases are bringing plenty to the table. From Victoria Monét leaning into lush, old-school R&B to Rema blending Afropop with dancehall, reggaeton and kompa, there is no shortage of tracks worth adding to the weekend rotation.

LE SSERAFIM bring their bright pop energy to a new Overwatch collaboration, while Slayyyter turns the chaos up another notch with the aptly titled “CRANK 2”.

Here are four new releases we have on repeat this week.

Victoria Monét — “Juicy”

Victoria Monét taps into the golden-era vocabulary of R&B on “Juicy”, trading the sharper edges of her recent work for something warmer, silkier and deliberately timeless. The track moves with an easy, funk-inflected groove, while Monét plays up the song’s central infatuation with a vocal that feels flirtatious without ever becoming overworked.

There’s a distinct sense of lineage here, helped by Babyface’s writing credit, but Monét makes the sound feel entirely at home in her world. Produced by D’Mile, Spencer Stewart and Michael Brun, “Juicy” gives Monét plenty of room to settle into the groove, making this one an easy addition to your New Music Friday rotation.

LE SSERAFIM — “Made My Night”

LE SSERAFIM are back with the kind of bright, dancefloor-ready pop that feels made for a night out. “Made My Night” builds its appeal around the rush of being drawn to someone, pairing a buoyant dance-pop production with the group’s polished, high-energy delivery. It is light on its feet but still carries the confident performance style that has become central to LE SSERAFIM’s sound.

The track also marks the group’s second collaboration with Overwatch, following 2023’s “Perfect Night”, with the accompanying video bringing the game’s animated universe into their performance-driven world. The outcome is a playful crossover that gives “Made My Night” an extra layer of pop spectacle without taking away from the song itself.

Rema — “Oh No”

Rema slips easily between Afropop, dancehall, reggaeton and kompa on “Oh No”, a flirtatious, rhythm-heavy track that finds him chasing the rush of a new infatuation. Produced by Rvssian, the song has an instantly memorable hook and a breezy quality that makes its genre-hopping feel almost effortless. Rema’s delivery carries that familiar melodic ease, but there’s a playful nostalgia running through the track too.

As his first solo release of the year, “Oh No” feels like a natural expansion of the palette Rema has been building. It is dance-ready, catchy without being overworked, and clearly built with his global audience in mind.

Slayyyter — “CRANK 2”

Slayyyter brings the chaos back with “CRANK 2”, a direct follow-up to last year’s viral “Crank” that doubles down on everything that made its predecessor such a thrill. The production stays in the same unruly, high-energy territory, but the sequel feels even more ferocious, with Slayyyter delivering her verses with a snarling confidence that leaves little room for restraint. It is loud, bratty and built for a mosh pit, but crucially, never feels like a carbon copy.

If “Crank” was an introduction to Slayyyter at her most unfiltered, “CRANK 2” sounds like her taking that persona and turning the volume all the way up. It is a gloriously unhinged follow-up that knows exactly what its audience came for.
