Debby Ryan and Josh Dun have welcomed their first child together. The actress and the Twenty One Pilots drummer announced the birth of their daughter, Felix Winter Dun, on Saturday, Dec. 13, sharing the news through personal posts on Instagram.
Debby Ryan confirmed the arrival with a video and photos documenting her home birth, including a moment of Dun holding their newborn. In her caption, Ryan described giving birth under a full moon and Christmas lights, with snow falling outside their bedroom window, writing that Felix was born “right into her father’s hands.”
Dun also acknowledged the news on his own account, calling their daughter a “moonbeam baby” and expressing his love for her.
The couple, who married on Dec. 31, 2019, announced Ryan’s pregnancy in September, three months before Felix’s birth. The two first began dating in 2013 and got engaged in late 2018, maintaining a largely private relationship despite their public careers.
Ryan, 32, rose to prominence as a Disney Channel star on The Suite Life on Deck and Jessie. In 2024, she appeared in American Horror Stories and the film Turtles All the Way Down. She is next set to appear in the thriller Famous, alongside Zac Efron and Phoebe Dynevor, and will headline the upcoming sci-fi thriller Orion.
Dun, meanwhile, continues to see major chart success with Twenty One Pilots. The band recently secured its 13th career No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart with “City Walls,” tying Green Day and Cage the Elephant for the third-most chart-toppers in the format’s history. Their latest album, Breach, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in September.
With Felix Winter Dun’s arrival, Debby Ryan and Josh Dun begin a new chapter as a family of three.
