Louis Tomlinson headlines F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Grid concert

Louis Tomlinson brought a jolt of pop energy to the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday, headlining the F1 Grid Gigs just hours before lights out at the 2025 Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The British singer arrived dressed to match the city’s neon flair, posed with F1 helmets backstage, and was spotted catching up with longtime collaborator Steve Aoki before taking the stage. Formula 1 highlighted his appearance across its official channels, calling him a global superstar and multi-platinum talent fit for the sport’s expanding entertainment slate.

His set unfolded on the track’s main grid stage moments after the drivers’ parade. Presented by American Express, the performance drew one of the weekend’s largest pre-race crowds. Louis Tomlinson opened with “Lemonade,” his latest single from the upcoming album How Did I Get Here?, slates for release on January 23, 2026. The track’s punchy debut in such a global spotlight serves as an early preview of the sound he plans to carry into his next era.

He followed with “Out of My System,” the high-voltage fan favorite from his 2022 album, Faith in the Future. The song’s driving lyric — “Slowly? I never wanna go slowly, I only wanna go faster towards disaster every time” — landed with even more bite against the atmosphere of a Grand Prix grid moments before lights out.

The set was short by design, in line with the Grid Gigs format to energize crowds while keeping the pre-race schedule tight. Still, Tomlinson’s appearance drew significant attention online, underscoring his growing visibility at major sporting events ahead of his 2026 world tour.

Louis Tomlinson also took part in the race weekend’s ceremonial duties, presenting the pole position trophy to Lando Norris earlier in the evening. His performance joined a packed entertainment lineup across the Strip Circuit, including sets from Kane Brown, Steve Aoki, VAVO, DJ Pee .Wee, and Kaskade.

Now in its second year, the Las Vegas Grand Prix continues to position itself as one of Formula 1’s most entertainment-driven events — and Tomlinson’s appearance reinforced the sport’s growing reliance on major artists to shape its cultural footprint.
