Chicago producer NerdyB60 has released BUMBLEBARIAN, a new album led by the progressive house single “PROGRESSIVE HOUSE SWING.”
Rather than chasing oversized festival drops, “PROGRESSIVE HOUSE SWING” lets its ideas develop gradually. Bright synth lines and crisp percussion build layer by layer, giving the arrangement room to breathe before opening into its biggest moments.
It’s a thoughtful approach that suits the genre well, favouring progression over instant payoff while balancing dancefloor energy with enough space for the production to breathe.
Released on July 31, BUMBLEBARIAN takes its name from a concept that combines the buzzing energy of a bumblebee with the determination of a barbarian. For NerdyB60, the title reflects an approach to electronic music rooted in purpose as much as movement.
The album brings together progressive house, EDM and collaborations with emerging artists while maintaining an emphasis on versatility rather than a single stylistic lane.
“I created the BUMBLEBARIAN album to make people realize that they can accomplish so much in life,” NerdyB60 said. “Always be yourself and never let the haters win.”
The release follows six years of producing across multiple genres and builds on the success of “DAIRY,” which reached No. 83 on the iTunes Argentina Singles Chart in 2025.
While BUMBLEBARIAN explores a broad electronic palette, “PROGRESSIVE HOUSE SWING” serves as one of its strongest centrepieces, capturing the album’s forward momentum without losing sight of melody or control.
