Another Friday, another slate of amazing new releases! From famed names to rising talents across the globe, here are Lyrical Muse’s top four picks for the first New Music Friday of April 2025.

Hayes Warner – “Threw Me Away”

NYC pop star Hayes Warner captures her vulnerability through personal reflections on enchanting production “Threw Me Away,” via Glassnote Music LLC / Connection Music Publishing. Reflecting on adapting for a love interest and the realisations of being true to yourself, the track is startlingly raw and honest as it weaves a  resonant and thought-provoking sonic tale led by Warner’s signature boldness alongside a touch of tenderness. Alongside the release, she will also be giving a glimpse of her forthcoming EP with a live performance, solidifying her place as a rising star.

Bodine – “Teke” 

Emerging Puerto Rican artist Bodine sets the stage for her upcoming debut EP with fiery anthem “Teke,” via Trambo Records. Led by a fusion of Brazilian funk and electronic beats, this sensual reggaeton offering is guaranteed to get you grooving along as it pulls you in with its magnetic sonics and energetic vibe.  Produced by XAY and BLVCK 95, the swirling production is elevated by stunning visuals directed by the fashion-forward Ruslan Pelykh, that perfectly compliments the rich sonics with its vibrance and splash of nostalgia. 

Rudimental ft Khalid – “All I Know” 

British electronic group Rudimental joins forces with GRAMMY-nominated artist Khalid  on “All I Know” an emotionally charged anthem about love, connection and finding solace in someone special. Rooted in Rudimental’s signature gospel stylings and classic DnB drum instrumentation, the track is elevated by Khalid’s heartfelt vocals to create a catchy yet soulful melodic experience. An intricate collaboration that celebrates two distinct powerhouses of music, thetrack is boosted by a sense of excitement for what’s to come –  as Rudimental gears up for their Coachella debut. 

Kill Dyll – “THE COST” 

Colorado alt-rap artist Kill Dyll shares “THE COST” a powerful blend of grungy guitars, echoing basslines and raw vocals to weave a foreboding mood. Framed by ’90s alternative and shoegaze, the track captures the relatable feeling of watching someone you care about turn into a stranger. A quietly evolving talent who has carved out a niche in the trap metal scene, Dyll continues to expand his sonic horizons with plenty of experimentation.
