First Light Feature

As part of Lyrical Muse’s first digital zine ‘First Light’ we spoke to homegrown, slow fashion brand Ashta on their brand’s vision, values and journey so far.

Homegrown, heartfelt and meaningful, slow fashion brand Ashta offers sustainable, wearable art designs that foster creativity and impact in equal parts.

Co-founded by Nandini Rajaram and Samyuktha Rajaram, Ashta is a slow fashion, the rising sustainable fashion brand taps into sustainability, storytelling and style with its custom made pieces.

“We are an unconventional fashion brand. Every piece we make carries a story and we are sure you’ll love it.” – Samyuktha Rajaram

Backed by Nandini’s artistic background and Samyuktha’s narrative-driven approach brings relatable experiences and stories to life in Ashta’s fashion, framed by authenticity and inclusivity.

From a passion project to a steadily growing brand leading with purpose, the co-founders of Ashta dive into their journey alongside the nuances of sustainable fashion in their interview with us.
