Netflix drops the teaser for Girl from Nowhere: The Reset, a reboot of the popular Thai anthology series with actress Becky Armstrong as the new lead.
Following the story of Nanno, enigmatic transfer student who transfers through schools to expose its dark secrets, the original 2018 series and its 2021 second season -starring Chicha “Kitty” Amatayakul in the lead – becoming huge hits, earning a widespread fanbase for its blend of horror and social commentary.
The reboot with Armstong essaying a new version of Nanno is set to be a completely fresh take, separate from the universe of its precedents. In the 53-second teaser, we’re drawn into a foreboding world of secrets showcasing a glimpse of Armstrong’s chilling performance as her Nanno unfurls the darkness nestled in six schools.
Set to premiere on March 7 on Thailand’s Channel One 31 and oneD app, with the uncut version streaming worldwide on Netflix, fans celebrated the global promo clip, expressing excitement to watch Armstrong’s take on Nanno.
