The nominations for the 14th Queerties are in! Heated Rivalry, Wicked: For Good, The White Lotus and more make the list.
Alongside Wicked, The Wedding Banquet, The History of Sound and Kiss of the Spider Woman have landed multiple film nominations in the annual pop culture awards.
Meanwhile Jonathan Bailey and Reneé Rapp have made the “Badass” nomination list, with Cynthia Erivo nominated in the “Film Performance” category.
The ‘Drama TV’ section is led by breakout series Heated Rivalry in addition to beloved shows like The White Lotus, The Last of Us, Severance, The Pitt and more.
Music nominations include Lady Gaga for “Abracadabra”, HUNTR/X for “Golden” and Chappell Roan for “The Subway,” among others in the “Anthem” nominations list, with KATSEYE making the “Breakout Star” list.
Besides looking back at all the queer hits of the past year, the “Next Big Thing” list features Red, White & Royal Wedding, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and much more as what we have to look forward to.
Scott Gatz, CEO of Q.Digital, Queerty’s parent company, said : “The Queerties gives voice to the LGBTQ+ community. It’s the pop culture awards show where queer people honor the best of the best, voting for the talent and creatives who inspire and pave the way for the next generation of queer youth.”
Public voting for the awards has opened today – January 20 – with fans able to vote once per day in each category until February 17.
Winners will be revealed at a ceremony in March in LA. Hosts and additional honorees are yet to be announced.
