London-based talent Poesie blends tongue-in-cheek charm, shimmering musicality and lyrical wit on much-anticipated debut EP Lost Romantic.
Made up of two compelling tracks, built on sparkly synths and lilting vocals, the EP is short yet impactful as it captures the trials and tribulations of looking for love.
From the echoing, funky beats and danceable styling of her anthemic debut track “Hunter-Gatherer,” which leads us into her electrifying pop world to the euphoric bass-laden melodies of title track “Lost Romantic,” the project is tinged with a nostalgic retro feel alongside a contemporary polish.
