Golden Globe-winning actor and singer Rachel Zegler is extending her stay at the London Palladium — but this time, not as Eva Perón. Fresh off her West End debut in Jamie Lloyd’s revival of Evita, the 23-year-old star will headline her own solo concert at the historic venue on October 5.

Billed as Rachel Zegler – Live at the London Palladium, the concert will mark her first-ever solo UK performance. Initially announced as a single evening show at 7:30 p.m., demand for tickets proved overwhelming, with the first performance selling out in under an hour. Organizers swiftly added a 2:30 p.m. matinee on the same day, giving more fans the chance to see the rising talent live.

Audiences can expect an eclectic setlist blending musical theatre standards, songs that have shaped Zegler’s career, and personal favorites. The concert will also feature stories and reflections from her unconventional journey — from uploading covers on YouTube as a teenager to becoming one of Hollywood’s most-watched young performers. Musical direction and arrangements are by Adam Hoskins, with the event produced by Lambert Jackson.

Zegler’s Palladium concert arrives at a moment when her stage career is rapidly gaining momentum. Critics have praised her portrayal of Eva Perón, with some media outlets stating: “her Eva: she appears girlish to a succession of predatory men, and then she turns the tables on them… This darkly brilliant Evita is bursting with star quality.”

Her stage work complements an already high-profile filmography. Zegler broke out as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (2021), earning a Golden Globe for Best Actress. She starred as Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, played Anthea in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and will next appear as Snow White in Disney’s live-action remake.

Earlier this year, she made her Broadway debut in Sam Gold’s Romeo + Juliet, opposite Heartstopper star Kit Connor with music by Jack Antonoff. She also recently starred in A24’s disaster comedy Y2K.

This summer, Zegler became something of a viral sensation in London when she stepped out onto a real balcony of the Palladium during Evita’s run, performing “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” to cheering crowds gathered on Argyll Street below — a moment that underscored her theatrical magnetism.

With her solo concert set just weeks after Evita concludes on September 6, Rachel Zegler will return to the same venue where she has already cemented her status as a West End force. Fans can buy tickets for both shows now, but only limited seats remain. Snag yours by clicking here.
