Ariana Grande is officially returning to the musical stage. The Grammy-winning pop star announced today (Aug. 28) that she will launch The Eternal Sunshine Tour next summer, marking her first concert run in seven years.

The trek begins June 6, 2026, in Oakland, California, before spanning major North American cities and wrapping with a five-night residency at London’s O2 Arena in August.

The tour will spotlight Grande’s 2024 chart-topping album Eternal Sunshine, her first release since 2020’s Positions. Sharing the news via Instagram alongside a tour poster, the singer kept her message brief: “see you next year.” Dates confirmed so far include Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Austin, and Montreal, with additional stops expected to be announced in the months ahead.

The return to touring is particularly significant for Grande’s fanbase (Arianators), many of whom have waited since 2019’s Sweetener World Tour for a chance to see her live again. That global trek ended in December of that year, after which Grande shifted her focus toward acting—most notably her upcoming role in Wicked. She has spoken candidly about her reluctance to tour again, citing the intensity of back-to-back world tours.

“I think my fans know that music and being on stage will always be a part of my life,” Grande told Variety in 2024 when asked about touring plans for Eternal Sunshine. “I think the next few years, hopefully we’ll be exploring different forms of art, and I think acting is feeling like home right now.”

By July, however, she hinted that a shift was underway. “Very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music … !!!” she wrote on Instagram. “It may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head … so i’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it’s just for a little.”

Released in March 2024, Eternal Sunshine debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where it remained for three consecutive weeks, and became her sixth chart-topping album. It produced two No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100: “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).”

Grande’s return to the road positions her as one of 2026’s most anticipated live acts, balancing a music career that remains commercially dominant with a new chapter in Hollywood. With seven years separating her last tour from the next, The Eternal Sunshine Tour is expected to be a milestone moment for both Ariana Grande and her fans.
