Swedish R&B artist Tove Evyn returns with “Go With It,” a poised new single that marks a clear step forward in her sound and artistic direction.
Based in Malmö, the singer-songwriter and producer joins forces with Slackin Beats (Elvis Suljevic) for the track, her first release since her 2025 debut “Want It Too.” This time, Evyn sounds more assured, leaning into a refined R&B palette that prioritises mood, control and emotional clarity.
“Go With It” builds on a smooth, atmospheric foundation, but it is Evyn’s vocal that drives the record. She moves between softness and strength with precision, keeping the delivery restrained while still carrying emotional weight. The production stays minimal and intentional, giving her space to lead, resulting in a track that feels intimate without losing its edge.
The song’s backstory mirrors that tension. Evyn connected with the beat instantly, but shaping it took time. She worked through countless melodic ideas over several months before landing on the one that felt right. Once it clicked, the track came together quickly, shaped by a period of personal difficulty that informs its core.
Lyrically, “Go With It” explores the difficult balance between surrender and self-definition. Evyn approaches the idea of letting go without framing it as defeat. Instead, she positions it as a conscious shift, moving away from destructive patterns while holding onto a sense of self.
Speaking of the single, Evyn says:
“My biggest wish is for people to feel something when listening to the song. Depending on what you are going through and where you are right now, I think the song and its message will hit you differently. I hope it touches the spot in the listener that needs to be touched, and reminds you to never settle, that you deserve everything.”
The track also signals what’s next. A music video is set to follow, with more releases planned as Evyn works toward her debut EP later this year. With “Go With It,” Tove Evyn widens her artistry, positioning herself as an artist to watch within the contemporary R&B space.
