New Music Friday: Bri Fletcher, Lauren Anderson, Henry Morris, G-Eazy and Jake Isaac

New Music Friday is here, and this week’s picks bring everything from country-pop reflections on personal growth to soulful declarations of love and collaborations exploring the messier side of romance.

We’ve got Bri Fletcher, Lauren Anderson, Henry Morris and G-Eazy, and Jake Isaac on the list, each bringing a different perspective and sound to their latest releases.

Here’s what deserves a spot on your playlist this week.

Bri Fletcher – ‘New Her’ (EP)

Bri Fletcher’s New Her brings together country roots with pop and R&B influences, tracing the ups and downs of relationships, self-discovery and learning to give yourself a little grace. The six-track EP includes previously released singles such as “Rocket Science” and “Detox”, alongside the title track, which closes the project on a note of acceptance.

While “Rocket Science” tackles the frustration of asking for the bare minimum in a relationship, “New Her” looks back at the different versions of yourself that helped you get where you are. It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t mean leaving your past behind, but recognising what it taught you.

Lauren Anderson – “A Ridglan Beagle”

Lauren Anderson takes an unusual but moving approach to animal advocacy with “A Ridglan Beagle”, a song told from the perspective of a Beagle born and raised in a research facility before finally experiencing life after rescue.

From the isolation of laboratory cages to the simple joys of treats, outdoor adventures and meeting a new human companion, the song captures what a second chance can look like for these animals. Anderson’s soulful delivery keeps the storytelling front and centre, bringing attention to the Beagles’ experiences and the people working to give them a better life.

Henry Morris ft. G-Eazy – “High All the Time”

Henry Morris teams up with G-Eazy on “High All the Time”, an alt-pop and rap collaboration exploring the addictive rush of falling in love and the messy emotions that come with it.

Built around the search for that elusive honeymoon phase, the track leans into the fine line between passion and obsession, with Morris’s raw, vulnerable storytelling complemented by G-Eazy’s candid rap verses. It’s the latest preview of Morris’s forthcoming album, Kiss Me Extra Hard, and a compelling addition to his increasingly moody, relationship-focused sound.

Jake Isaac – “Only Yours”

Jake Isaac brings a soulful take on lasting love with “Only Yours”, the lead single from his forthcoming album CRY.DANCE.LOVE., due February 19, 2027. Rather than chasing the rush of new romance, the South London singer-songwriter explores a deeper, more enduring kind of devotion, pairing his rich baritone and contemporary soul sound with an almost hip-hop-inspired beat.

The resulting track feels both timeless and fresh, capturing love as something built on commitment rather than fleeting excitement. As Isaac puts it, the song is for those who have lost hope in love, as well as those who have found it.
