Heated Rivalry cast and crew will be attending to the 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards.
Adapted from Rachel Reid‘s novel, the Canadian queer hockey romance series – which became a worldwide phenomena – was nominated for ‘Outstanding New TV Series’ at the 2026 GLAAD Media Awards, considered one of the most visible LGBTQ awards show in the world.
Rooted in a rivals-to-lovers story arc, the series tells the story of Montreal captain Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and his Toronto counterpart Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) as their fierce on-ice contest gives way to a passionate but hidden romance.
Quickly gaining fame around the world for the sizzling chemistry between the leads and capturing queer joy, the series has been taken over fandom and pop culture since the premiere of the first season in November 2025.
Fans of the pair – who have both become global sensations – are buzzing about the potential for a ‘HudCon’ reunion at the awards which is set to take place on March 16 in Los Angeles.
With Season 2 already in the works, Heated Rivalry and its stars continue to create buzz with every appearance.
