Streams For Meals with Spotify : Your music streaming habits can help feed those in need

Stream For Meals

Songwriter and producer Bradley Markham’s project “unworry” is turning music plays into food for families.

With the new Streams for Meals initiative, unworry is inviting music lovers to turn their everyday Spotify listens into real meals for those that need them most.

For every 50 Spotify plays of his music, Markham will be donating the cost of one meal to Feeding America. The donations are funded by the streaming royalties generated through Spotify.

His campaign comes at a time when food banks across America are facing record demand as grocery prices, housing costs, and healthcare premiums rise faster than wages.

The Stream for Meals playlist – spanning country, R&B, and rock – is an eclectic collection of music with something that appeals to everyone. Markham wrote, produced, and distributed the 25 newly released songs of unworry himself, channelling his art into something much bigger than charts or sales.

And by simply pressing play on his music, you will be able to help fund a meal and give back in a way that makes a tangible impact.

Of his initiative, Markham says, “Music can’t fix the economy, but it can feed hope — one play at a time. Music moves people — and movement creates change. We can all use what we have to make a difference.”
