Grammy-winning artist Dua Lipa has officially entered the beauty industry, unveiling her long-anticipated skincare line DUA — a collaboration with luxury skincare powerhouse Augustinus Bader.
The trio of products — a cleanser, a glow complex, and a renewal cream — launched globally this week, available exclusively through the brand’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) site.

Priced between $40 and $80, the collection debuts TFC5™ (Trigger Factor Complex), Augustinus Bader’s newest proprietary technology. It’s a refined evolution of the brand’s cult-favorite TFC8® complex — originally developed by Dr. Augustinus Bader to help regenerate skin in burn victims.
For DUA, Augustinus Bader reengineered that breakthrough to better suit younger skin, targeting ages 18 to 35, with formulas focused on skin repair, hydration, and long-term barrier support.
“DUA powered by Augustinus Bader Science 💙 the secret is out!!! Such a dream to launch my very own skincare line in collaboration with the best of the best,” Lipa wrote on Instagram. “I’m so in LOVE with these formulations and the amazing TFC5™ technology that makes them so special — let the new journey begin!”
A Partnership Rooted in Science and Simplicity
The collaboration was three years in the making.
According to Augustinus Bader cofounder and CEO Charles Rosier, the idea stemmed from an organic connection years ago. “Dua performed at the UNICEF gala in Saint Barth’s a few years ago, and we organized treatments for her and her family,” Rosier said. “That was when we first had contact.”

From there, both parties developed a shared vision — to create a minimalist yet high-performance driven skincare routine that could keep up with Lipa’s travel-heavy life. “We had this agreement that we were trying to simplify down to a highly efficient routine,” Rosier said. “We focused on three products and there is no fourth product in the pipe.”
Each formula in the lineup — the Balancing Cream Cleanser, the Supercharged Glow Complex, and the Renewal Cream — integrates biomimetic peptides, antioxidants, and moisture-enhancing proteins designed to balance oil, refine texture, and maintain radiance without overloading the skin.
“She inspires by her positive energy, dynamic life and her vision as chief creative officer for the colors of the packaging and texture of the product. We brought the science,” Rosier added.

For 30-year-old pop icon, the collaboration represents both discipline and discovery. “I wanted to create something that felt like it could really restore and protect my skin,” she told British Vogue.
“I get the occasional breakouts and dryness, especially from long-haul flights. I did a lot of learning on the job and now I feel like I know how to combat the busyness and the madness of my schedule and still take care of myself.”
Her goal was a concise edit of “everyday essentials” — a compact, no-fuss routine that fits seamlessly into her life. “A three-step skincare line feels really manageable and not so daunting,” she said. “It’s easy to take with you, wherever you go, and it’s powerful. Three is a kind of magic number.” Which is why, after many conversations, the initial collection ended up as a perfect trifecta.”
The Lineup: Clean, Glow, Renew
The Balancing Cream Cleanser transforms from cream to foam, combining TFC5™ with prebiotics to nurture a healthy skin microbiome. It also uses algae extract to regulate oil and tsubaki oil to lift away impurities — a reflection of Lipa’s desire for a product that “works hard but still feels gentle.”

Next, the Supercharged Glow Complex — Lipa’s personal favorite — which brightens, smooths, and revives tired skin using marine bio-retinol, Vitamin B3, and ectoin for environmental protection.
“I wanted to have a serum that I felt had all the good vitamins in it to give you that glow, but also hydrate and support your skin barrier,” Lipa explained. She’s even admitted to applying it sometimes over makeup as a subtle highlighter.
Lipa’s Supercharged Glow Complex is chock full of those “good vitamins”. There’s vitamin B7 and niacinamide for even skin tone, along with firming marine bio-retinol, bounce-imbuing glycerol glucoside and strengthening ectoin.

Finally, the Renewal Cream reinterprets Augustinus Bader’s famed The Cream with a lighter texture and probiotic support for redness reduction, hydration, and skin balance. Its prerequisites, Lipa said, were that it be “bouncy, soft and nice,” and light enough to reapply throughout the day.

Like I mentioned earlier, at the core of all three sits TFC5™, the fifth evolution of the brand’s hallmark Trigger Factor Complex. “TFC5 is the fifth evolution of Augustinus Bader’s breakthrough TFCTM (Trigger Factor Complex) technology,” said Aimee Nottingham, director of formulation for AB.
The complex blends reparative amino acids, vitamins, and peptides, offering a gentler, preventative approach for everyday skin maintenance. In contrast, TFC8® — used in Bader’s higher-end products — delivers higher potency for more advanced skin concerns like pigmentation or loss of density.
A Shift Toward Accessible Luxury
The launch of DUA arrives as the skincare industry undergoes a generational shift, with younger consumers favoring skin health and preventative aging over heavy-duty correction. Rosier said the partnership bridges Augustinus Bader’s clinical science and heritage with a fresher, more relatable and younger audience.
“She [Dua Lipa] inspires a lot of people, and that age bracket is very complementary to our existing customer,” Rosier explained. “This was an opportunity to talk to another community and engage with them — and the products have been made for slightly younger skin, and they’re slightly more affordable.”

However, that accessibility is relative — Bader’s signature creams retail between $200 and $500, while DUA’s entry-level pricing positions it as a gateway to luxury skincare without sacrificing credibility. Despite broader slowdowns in U.S. luxury skincare sales, Rosier said Augustinus Bader anticipates 25% growth this year, pointing to collaborations like DUA as key drivers of that momentum.
Built for Independence, Backed by Science
While DUA carries Augustinus Bader’s technological DNA, Rosier emphasized that the brand stands independently. “It’s a direct-to-consumer brand with its own ecosystem,” he said. “It’s her brand and her identity, powered by our technology.”
There are no immediate plans to take the line into retail, emphasizing the autonomy of Lipa’s project and its positioning as a lifestyle-driven extension of her persona — much like her Service95 newsletter and podcast.

For Dua Lipa, who effortlessly juggles global tours, recording sessions, and cultural ventures, DUA feels like a natural extension of her world. It’s not just another celebrity skincare line but a distilled version of her ethos: practical in purpose, refined in design and powered by science.
