The 71st National Film Awards is currently underway in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
President Droupadi Murmu honours the Indian films released in 2023. The winners were announced by filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker at the National Media Centre press conference in New Delhi on August 1.
Celebrating a year of diverse cinema across genres, languages and crafts, winners include ; Best Actor – Shah Rukh Khan (Jawan) and Vikrant Massey (12th Fail), Best Actress – Rani Mukerji (Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway), Best Feature Film – 12th Fail, Best Direction – Sudipto Sen (The Kerala Story) and Dadasaheb Phalke Award – Mohanlal, among others.
