The cast of Chinese BL ABO Desire have released double singles to mark Qixi Festival or Chinese Valentine on August 29.
Delivering covers that have been carefully crafted to reflect each pairing’s vocal style and delivery, the both tracks are a refreshing celebration of love.
The main lead pairing Eliot Huang and Kipuka Qiu have shared their take of “Kiss me Under Moonlight.” With poetic lyrics paying ode to little snippets of their life, the track is built on a melancholic yet comforting melody.
In contrast to the autumnal vibe and romantic flourish of “Kiss me Under Moonlight,” the release from the second pairing Seeky Li and Ocean Jiang encapsulate warmth and vibrance on “My Summer Lover.”
Led by more upbeat sonics, the track brims with a summery passion that is starkly different to the tenderness of Eliot and Kipuka’s track.
