Multiplatinum global pop powerhouse Zara Larsson shares vibrant visuals for exhilarating recent single “Midnight Sun,” infusing the sun-kissed, Swedish-pop—tinged track with touches of sultriness and nostalgia.
Coming to life as a vivid, hyperreal reimagining of Swedish summers, the visuals unfold the core of her confident yet vulnerable artistry, which is set to shine bright in her upcoming album Midnight Sun.
A 10-track project bursting with ambitious ferocity as well as wistful quietude, the hypnotic title track is the perfect encapsulation of Zara’s layered and dynamic craft.
Speaking of the track and album, she says, “I really am proud of my Swedish pop heritage, so I wanted to write about a Swedish summer where the sun never goes down. I wanted the whole album to feel like it’s a summer night and it never ends. And it doesn’t matter if it’s December: the summer night will be there for you. It’s waiting for you, it will come back for you, and you will come back for it.”

Alongside the new single, Zara announced the European headlining leg of her Midnight Sun Tour. It will kick off in Munich, Germany on October 28th at Zenith Arena, after which Zara will go on to conquer London’s Wembley Arena on November 5th and Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on the 12th, followed by a run of Nordic arenas culminating in a homecoming show at Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on November 28th.
