As Sir David Attenborough turns 100, here’s our ode to the iconic television broadcaster who fundamentally changed humanity’s relationship with the natural world with his influential and impactful environmental storytelling. Chennai-based women’s leadership and business network @the.shakthi.circle is set to host a networking event for women founders, creatives, professionals, and entrepreneurs on Wednesday, May 17. Swedish-American jazz vocalist, artist, and songwriter Åsa Orbison intertwines gentle instrumentals with honeyed vocals on “Lullaby of Birdland,” offering an enchanting peek at her upcoming project, Swedish Jazz Standards.’ On May 9th, Houston will come alive with a vibrant celebration of diversity and culture with its first-ever AAPI Fest.
