Lucid Aisle weave peace and chaos on "The Great Cosmic Dance" and "Silhouette Dream"

Portland rock band Lucid Aisle juxtapose peace and chaos across two tracks “The Great Cosmic Dance” and “Silhouette Dream,” showcasing an enticing musical range, underpinned by their signature blend of experimental, avant-garde stylings and classic rock and roll sensibilities.

While the former draws us in with its expansive psychedelic arrangement, the latter is shaped as a poetic, layered anthem laden with a sense of spontaneity.

Exploring the journey of finding peace and solace in the midst of chaos, both tracks channel a sense of balance and self-acceptance.With each rattling you as much as it soothes, Lucid Aisle pulls you into a textured soundscape built on guitar-driven melodies, bold bass lines, tight drum
grooves and expressive vocals all underscored by poetic lyricism.

Meditative and intensely energetic in perfect turns, the two-track project encapsulate the band’s ability to push the boundaries of the rock genre with a large helping of imagination.

Speaking of the project, they say, “Tranquility. Peace. Acceptance. Love. Knowing that if you can imagine it you can create it. Maybe these songs can inspire one to embrace friction and pursue the unknown with imagination. I know this EP sounds very different than most of my work. That’s absolutely fine with me. It seems to not be in my nature to box my music into one category. The songs feel right.”

Vast, creative and colourful, Lucid Aisle delivers a world that spans psychedelic rock, garage, dark wave, dream pop, ambient, alternative,
glam, acid punk, stoner, grunge, folk and more with a confident flourish.
