BLACKPINK’s Jennie joins Ray-Ban as its new global ambassador, marking the latest high-profile partnership as global brands increasingly turn to Asian artists to reach younger fashion-conscious audiences.

The eyewear company confirmed the appointment today on its Instagram as part of its 2026 global campaign strategy, placing Jennie among a growing list of cultural figures who have fronted the brand, including A$AP Rocky and Charli XCX.

“I’m really happy to be partnering with Ray-Ban. It felt natural from the beginning. To me, confidence isn’t loud; it comes from feeling comfortable with yourself and expressing who you are in a quiet way,” Jennie said in a statement.

The global campaign features Jennie in a series of visuals built around relaxed street-style aesthetics and vintage-inspired frames, including wrap shields, metal silhouettes and retro cat-eye designs. The concept blends Ray-Ban’s heritage design with a contemporary fashion edge while tapping into Jennie’s global cultural influence.

Ray-Ban’s decision also reflects the growing influence of K-pop in international fashion and marketing strategies. Global brands are increasingly turning to globally recognised artists to strengthen cultural relevance and commercial visibility.
