BTS set to brave the "Wings of Death" in historic "Hot Ones" finale

Seven chairs, seventy wings, and zero mercy. The “Wings of Death” have finally met their match as BTS prepares to close out Season 29 of Hot Ones in what host Sean Evans is calling the “biggest episode ever.”

Set to drop this Thursday, April 9, at 11:00 am EST, the finale marks a historic moment for the First We Feast flagship, featuring all seven members: RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, braving the Scoville scale in unison.

The Monday teaser offered a glimpse into the logistical feat of the shoot, with Evans walking past an extended table built specifically to accommodate the group’s massive gravity. “They flew all the way across the world to be here at this table,” Evans noted, surveying the seven-chair setup. “It’s the largest one the studio has ever seen.”

The timing couldn’t be better. The group is currently riding the high of their latest album, ARIRANG, a project they recently broke down during a stop at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While that appearance focused on the nuance of tracks like “SWIM” and “NORMAL,” the Hot Ones seat promises a much more visceral side of the septet.

So expect the polished choreography to take a backseat to the beautiful chaos of the “Da’Bomb” reaction. Whether it’s RM keeping his cool or the inevitable breakdown of the group’s signature chemistry under the pressure of 2 million+ Scoville units, this episode isn’t just another stop on the press circuit – it’s high-octane finale with a side of ghost pepper.
