Lollapalooza has unveiled its 2026 lineup, with Charli XCX, Lorde and Tate McRae leading this year’s edition of the Chicago festival alongside the Smashing Pumpkins, the xx, Jennie, Olivia Dean and John Summit.
The four-day festival returns to Grant Park from July 30 through Aug. 2, bringing more than 100 artists across eight stages. For the Smashing Pumpkins, the booking marks a full-circle moment: the Chicago band has not played a U.S. Lollapalooza since 1994.
Beyond the headliners, the bill leans heavily into pop, indie and alternative music’s current moment, with appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Turnstile, Beabadoobee, Ethel Cain, Blood Orange, Clipse, Zara Larsson, Wet Leg, Wolf Alice, Little Simz, Aespa, Freddie Gibbs, Yungblud, Leon Thomas, CMAT and Suki Waterhouse, among others.

For Charli XCX, the festival currently stands as her only scheduled North American performance of 2026. After spending much of the past two years touring behind Brat, the singer has shifted her focus toward film, including work on her forthcoming feature The Moment and the soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights.
Lorde and Tate McRae, meanwhile, are also set to headline Montreal’s Osheaga Festival the same weekend. Lorde continues touring behind 2025’s Virgin, with additional appearances lined up at Governors Ball and All Things Go, while McRae’s festival run follows an extensive tour in support of So Close to What.
Presale tickets for Lollapalooza 2026 go on sale Thursday, March 19, beginning at 10 a.m. CT, with the festival’s lowest-priced passes available during the first hour of the presale window. General on-sale begins at 11 a.m. CT via the festival’s official website.
