The Cinema Audio Society handed out its top honors for sound on Saturday night, with blockbuster spectacle and streaming hits dominating the winners’ circle at the 62nd annual CAS Awards.
Among films, F1 roared ahead to claim the award for Live Action Motion Picture, while Netflix’s animated sensation KPop Demon Hunters took the Animated Motion Picture prize. Both titles have been key players this awards season, with F1 building momentum in the sound categories and KPop Demon Hunters continuing a dominant run across animation awards.
Television categories were led by HBO Max’s The Pitt and Apple TV+ comedy The Studio, which won for One-Hour and Half-Hour Television Series respectively. Netflix’s Adolescence also added to its awards-season tally with a win in the Non-Theatrical Motion Picture or Limited Series category.
