Malaysia-hailing music composer, songwriter, and producer Loh Huei Xian shares dreamy offering “Sunshine within the mountains,” weaving her honeyed vocals with a steadily building soaring melody.
Inspired by scenery she saw in Iceland during a trip, the track paints a vivid picture of a scenic view with choral musicality adding a touch of otherworldiness to the gently unfolding sonics.
Deceptively simple, the track quietly draws us into an uplifting narrative of finding that your dreams can be possible as long as you believe it.Laden with vibrance and hope, Xian offers us exactly the dose of hope we all need to embrace once in a while.
Rooted in her steadfast belief that anything is possible as long as we have faith in our dream and ourselves, the track encourages us to dream and keep chasing those dreams down.
Speaking of the track, she says, “In nowadays society, most people are stuck in a “survival” kind of living style. Where the hopes and dreams that we used to have had been hidden somewhere inside of us, or even forgotten sometimes. I hope this song can brings those back, and encourage people to pursue those dreams that still exist in us even though the journey might be hard. I believe that anything’s possible as long as you believe in yourself.”
Having begun releasing music since 2021 Xian’s genre-bending ballad-esque orchestral pop finds its roots in self-expression above everything as her ethereal voice wraps around our hearts with warmth and comfort.
