Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda get married in Udaipur twin ceremony

The internet’s favourite maybe-yes-maybe-no love story just turned gloriously official. Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are now husband and wife, and the first photographs from their wedding in Udaipur feel less like a celebrity drop and more like a page torn from a deeply personal diary.

The couple married this morning at 10:10 AM in a traditional Telugu Hindu ceremony honouring Vijay’s roots. By evening, they celebrated again, this time embracing Rashmika’s Kodava heritage in a customary Coorg ritual. They chose the stunning ITC Mementoes, located about 50 km outside Udaipur, as the setting for what fans have already christened “The Wedding of Virosh.”

In the official images, Rashmika glows in an orange-and-gold saree, rich with zardosi work, while Vijay complements her in a classic white dhoti and dushala. Both wore custom ensembles by Anamika Khanna and traditional gold jewellery. The visuals reflect culture, intention, and quiet grandeur.

But it’s their words that truly sealed the moment.

“Hi my loves, introducing to you now my husband, Mr. Vijay Deverakonda,” Rashmika began in a heartfelt note. She called him “the man who taught me what true love feels like” and “the man who showed me what being in peace feels like.” She wrote about how he encouraged her to dream bigger than she thought possible and confessed, “Trust me, I could write a book on this man.” In one striking line, she admitted that her life’s highs and lows “just make a lot more sense now” because he stands beside her, witnessing it all.

Vijay matched her vulnerability with his own. He described a day when he simply missed her. Missed her at meals. At workouts. In the quiet spaces. “Like I needed her — just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was,” he wrote. And then came the line that will live rent-free in fan edits: “So, I made my best friend… my wife. 26.02.2026.”

Their celebrations began earlier with an intimate haldi and a high-spirited sangeet. According to reports, the dance floor erupted to tracks from their own films, including Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, the very projects that sparked their on-screen and eventual off-screen chemistry. The viral “Peelings” track from Pushpa: The Rise reportedly turned the night electric. Friends like Kalyani Priyadarshan and Ashika Ranganath shared glimpses from the festivities, while sources confirmed the couple sweetly sent treats to waiting paparazzi.

They met on the sets of Geetha Govindam, reunited for Dear Comrade, and now prepare for their third Telugu collaboration, Ranabaali, slated for September 11. Life, clearly, imitates art.

After years of dodging rumours and refusing labels, Rashmika and Vijay didn’t just confirm their love. They celebrated it loudly, culturally, and on their own terms. To Rashmika and Vijay — may this new chapter be filled with joy, art, adventure and endless applause.
