Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are set to reunite after more than four decades in upcoming project, tentatively titled KH x RK.
The two pillars of South Indian cinema who last shared screen space 47 years ago in 1979 film Allauddinum Albhutha Vilakkum are finally coming together again.
Directed by Nelson and with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, an entertaining promo for the film sets up a dashing entry for the superstars who face off in all their glory.
With swaggering slow walks and their typical style, the veteran actors ooze charisma and allure amidst a rustic garage backdrop.
The 3-minute 46-second promo comes after the announcement poster of the film which is rooted in the apt tagline “Some men set rules, some men just rule.”
Kamal Haasan shared the promo on his X handle writing “A Special reunion with my friend @Rajinikanth. Every great journey deserves another chapter!”
Co-produced by M. Shenbaga Moorthy and R Arjun Durai under the banner of Red Giant Movies, makers yet to reveal an official release date for the film – one thing’s for sure KH x RK will be nothing if not a spectacle of epic proportions.
