Shakira to headline Feeding India Concert 2026 in Mumbai and Delhi

Nearly two decades after she last set a Mumbai stage on fire, Shakira is finally coming back, and she’s bringing more than just her hips with her.

The four-time Grammy winner will headline the 2026 edition of the Feeding India Concert, performing at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on April 10 before heading to Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on April 15.

This marks the initiative’s first-ever multi-city format, turning what began as a single-night spectacle into a two-city call for change.

“Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi,” Shakira said in a statement. But she made it clear that this tour runs deeper than nostalgia. “The Feeding India Concert is about more than music; it’s about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.”

Produced and distributed by District by Zomato, the concert supports the United Nations’ Zero Hunger goal for 2030. Shakira has long championed children’s rights, and this return to India aligns her global platform with a local mission that urgently needs the spotlight.

Fans still remember her explosive 2007 stop in Mumbai during the Oral Fixation tour. Since then, she has shattered streaming records, sold over 100 million records worldwide, and continued to dominate playlists with global anthems like “Hips Don’t Lie”, “Whenever, Wherever”, and “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”

Ticket sales begin in phases from February 27, with general access opening March 1. Organisers will announce opening acts soon.
