Bridgerton star Yerin Ha has been named SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards ambassador.
The Korean-Australian actress who has made a mark with her role as Benedict Bridgerton’s mysterious maid and love interest Sophie Baek in season four of Netflix’s Bridgerton, received the ambassador honour for acting talent as well as her humanitarian and public service advocacy.
In her role, Ha will be representing emerging talent and attending events to spotlight the SAG-AFTRA Foundation as well as share glimpses with fans ahead of the 32nd annual ceremony on March 1 hosted by Kristen Bell at LA’s Shrine Auditorium – airing live on Netflix .
Speaking of the role, Ha said : “Being named ambassador is such an honor because this ceremony is about actors celebrating actors.“
With previous credits Dune: Prophecy, Halo, as well as stage productions like The Maids, Ha has been hailed by organisers as one of the most exciting new international talents.
