Victoria Monét launches a new era with sultry single “Let Me”

Victoria Monét is not easing back in. She is gliding.

The award-winning songstress returns with “Let Me”, her first solo release in nearly two years, and it feels intentional in every sense. Arriving just ahead of Valentine’s Day, the track leans into lush, ‘90s-tinged R&B, trading spectacle for intimacy. This is Monét in her softest, most assured form.

Produced by Camper, with additional production from Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, Branden “B Mack” Rowell, and Cashmere Brown, “Let Me” unfolds over warm instrumentation that gives her honeyed vocals room to breathe.

Lyrically, she invites vulnerability rather than demanding it. “Let me be your ride or die / Let me love you back to life,” she sings, turning reassurance into something seductive. The chorus lingers as the mood settles in, delivering romance without theatrics and confidence without force.

The release marks her first solo chapter since closing out the Jaguar II era, which earned Victoria Monét three Grammy Awards in 2024, including Best New Artist and Best R&B Album.

Since then, she expanded the project with a deluxe edition and even surprised fans with A Jaguar II Christmas: The Orchestral Arrangements, reimagining her catalog with sweeping live instrumentation. Now, “Let Me” feels like a reset, not a departure but a refinement, and it lands exactly where it should.

Beyond the music, 2026 is already shaping up to be expansive. Monét recently signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation across touring, film, and television, signaling ambitions well beyond the studio. She will also join Bruno Mars on the European and U.K. leg of The Romantic Tour this summer, performing in major cities including Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan and London.

If Jaguar was about arrival, “Let Me” is about control. Victoria Monét sounds grounded, intentional, and fully aware of the space she occupies in modern R&B. And if this single is the foundation, her next chapter is already moving with quiet power.
