Bruno Mars announces new album ‘The Romantic’ and 2026 tour

The Romantic: Bruno Mars Announces New Album and 2026 Tour

Bruno Mars is set to return to the solo spotlight with his fourth studio album, The Romantic, and a world-spanning stadium tour. The singer-songwriter confirmed on Wednesday that the album will be released February 27, with its first single arriving today (January 9).

Following a decade without a solo LP since 2016’s 24K Magic, Mars has remained an active presence in music. In recent years, he teamed up with Anderson .Paak to form Silk Sonic, scoring a No. 1 hit with “Leave the Door Open” in 2021, and delivered chart-topping mega collaborations with Lady Gaga on “Die With a Smile” and ROSÉ on “APT.,” which landed at No. 9 on Billboard’s year-end Hot 100 chart and received three Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year.

Mars’ newly announced “The Romantic Tour” will kick off in April 2026, shortly after the album release, and run through mid-October. The stadium trek will cover cities across North America, Canada, and Europe, with Anderson .Paak appearing as a featured guest at all shows.

Additional supporting acts include RAYE, Victoria Monét, and Leon Thomas, rotating across dates. Fans can access a ticket presale beginning January 14 via Mars’ official website, with general sales opening the following day.

The new album and tour mark a strategic return for Bruno Mars, blending his signature pop and R&B sensibilities with collaborative momentum from the past few years. The Romantic positions him once again at the center of contemporary pop culture, reaffirming his role as a consistent chart presence and live performer.

For fans, it signals a celebration of both nostalgia and evolution, connecting the polished grooves of his earlier hits with the dynamic energy of his recent collaborations.
