Aerosmith has returned with new material for the first time in more than a decade—this time alongside British rocker Yungblud. The two acts released a collaborative EP, One More Time, via Capitol Records, merging two eras of rock on a five-track project written and recorded together.
The release marks a milestone for Aerosmith, whose last set of new music came more than twelve years ago. Across the EP, the band’s classic blues-rooted rock sound intersects with Yungblud’s sharper, contemporary edges, with Steven Tyler and Yungblud trading vocals on every track.
Joe Perry’s guitar anchors the project, which features four newly co-written songs and a newly remixed 2025 version of the band’s 1976 staple “Back in the Saddle.”

The EP’s rollout began in September with lead single “My Only Angel,” a track that opens with stacked, a cappella harmonies from Tyler and Yungblud before shifting into a full-band surge shaped by Perry’s signature guitar solo.
The single topped Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and logged notable placements across several rock lists, signaling the appetite for this cross-generational collaboration. It has since surpassed more than 22 million streams.
A second version, “My Only Angel (Desert Road Version),” strips the song back to its bare emotional core. The new iteration introduces an unlikely collaborator: actor and musician Steve Martin, whose banjo lines closes the track with a distinctly textured finish. Martin recorded his part remotely, joining the project after Steven Tyler reached out during a late-stage studio session.
Across the rest of One More Time, the collaboration shifts through several shades of rock. “Problems” blends cinematic strings with a sweeping hook, while “Wild Woman” leans into bluesy, foot-stomping swagger. “A Thousand Days” slows the pace of the record, unfolding as a guitar-led ballad built on traded vocal lines. The EP concludes with “Back in the Saddle (2025 Mix),” a louder, more explosive revisit to one of Aerosmith’s most defining tracks.
Accompanying the release, Aerosmith and Yungblud also hosted a two-day pop-up event in Los Angeles on November 21 and 22, showcasing exclusive merchandise and limited-run collectibles linked to the EP. The project’s artwork, designed by Chrome Hearts designer Joe Foti, also marks a first for the luxury label, expanding its presence into music visuals.
