Ariana Grande’s chart-topping catalog is getting a gentler new life this month as Rockabye Baby! releases Lullaby Renditions of Ariana Grande, a 13-track project transforming some of her most recognizable hits into soft, instrumental bedtime arrangements. The album arrived Nov. 21, following a mid-November announcement and an early preview of a glockenspiel- and vibraphone-led “7 Rings,” accompanied by a short animated clip.
The compilation spans the singer’s seven studio albums and includes familiar staples, including “One Last Time,” “God Is a Woman,” “thank u, next,” “Dangerous Woman,” and seasonal favorite “Santa Tell Me”, as well as her Wicked signature “Popular.” It also features a lullaby version of “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” the Eternal Sunshine single that earned Grande yet another Hot 100 No. 1 in 2024.
Rockabye Baby! has previously released tribute albums to artists as varied as Taylor Swift, BTS, Queen, Bad Bunny, and Marvin Gaye, but the Ariana Grande edition arrives at a particularly active time in her career. The singer is currently enjoying the blockbuster worldwide premiere of Wicked: For Good, in which she stars as Glinda, and recently wrapped filming on Focker-in-Law. She is also set to embark on her first tour in six years in support of Eternal Sunshine.
The album’s cover nods to Grande’s Dangerous Woman era, with the brand’s signature bear wearing a fuzzy black bunny mask. While the project is designed with young listeners in mind, the company notes its audience includes “pop diva parents,” “former theatre kids,” and “future dangerous women”—a reminder of how deeply Grande’s music has woven itself into multiple generations of fans.
