Chloë Grace Moretz has officially tied the knot. The Carrie and Kick-Ass star, 28, married longtime partner Kate Harrison, a model and photographer, over Labor Day weekend in a celebration that was anything but ordinary.
After nearly seven years together, the couple confirmed their marriage through an exclusive Vogue feature, offering a first look at their custom Louis Vuitton gown and multi-day festivities.
Moretz stunned in a light blue dress crafted by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, while Harrison opted for a timeless white gown. “It just feels like me,” Moretz told Vogue, explaining her decision to forgo a traditional white dress.
“I never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like, I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.”

The weekend was filled with personal touches and couple’s shared passions, including horseback riding, fishing, poker tournaments, and even a round of line dancing on the second day.
In her Vogue video, Chloë Moretz revealed she was the one who popped the question. “When I knew that I was going to propose to Kate, I was excited (about) the opportunity that we don’t just get one engagement ring, but we get two engagement rings,” she said.
The wedding also marked a significant moment of gratitude for the actress, who publicly thanked Louis Vuitton and Ghesquière on Instagram. “Your generosity, artistry, dedication and kindness knows no bounds. We feel so incredibly grateful. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it, but, thank you. Your vision made our day all the more meaningful.”

The couple has kept much of their relationship private since they began dating in 2018. Fans first spotted signs of an engagement in January when Moretz shared a New Year’s post with the pair holding hands with matching rings. “So thankful for what this year has brought,” she wrote at the time. “The people, the places, our families, our health, our love. Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year.”
In recent years, Moretz has spoken more candidly about her personal life, publicly coming out in 2024 while endorsing Kamala Harris’ presidential bid. “I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman,” she wrote at the time. “We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve.”
The vows reflected the couple’s philosophy of “choosing each other every day”, with Harrison describing their “first look moment” as unforgettable. From double engagement rings to poker tables and cowboy boots on the dance floor, Moretz and Harrison proved a wedding can be glamorous, heartfelt, and playfully offbeat all at once.
A celebration blending high-fashion artistry with the couple’s favorite pastimes, their wedding was the ultimate reminder that love looks best when it’s entirely your own.
