Fanta unites horror icons with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse for a global Halloween takeover

Halloween is arriving early this year, and it comes fizzing with a fruit-flavored twist. Fanta® has announced a global partnership with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, bringing together some of horror’s most notorious icons in a first-of-its-kind collaboration that blends cinema scares with soda shelves.

The crossover sees five horror legends—Chucky from the Chucky franchise, Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, The Grabber from Black Phone 2, M3gan from M3GAN 2.0, and Michael Myers from Halloween 2—banding together with one unlikely craving: Fanta®. While Myers’ appearance will remain exclusive to the U.S. market, all five figures are set to headline Fanta’s Halloween Collection packaging worldwide in the weeks leading up to the holiday.

Fans will find the characters stamped across cans of classic flavors, with Chucky scoring his own special release: Chucky’s Punch, a limited-edition fruit punch blend available now. Other pairings include Freddy Fazbear on Orange and Orange Zero Sugar, The Grabber on Strawberry, M3gan on Grape (available exclusively through Freestyle machines in select U.S. cinemas and Universal theme parks), and Myers on Pineapple. Each can also features scannable QR codes that unlock exclusive content and digital experiences.

The rollout comes as Universal Pictures prepares two new horror entries with Blumhouse this fall: The Black Phone 2, hitting theaters October 17, and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, arriving December 5. Both are expected to keep the Blumhouse brand at the forefront of contemporary horror, while Fanta leans into its long-running Halloween connection with a campaign that extends beyond packaging to in-store activations, vending machines, and live fan experiences.

From September through October, the crossover campaign will bring the characters out of cinemas and onto shelves, reminding fans that the scariest icons of horror share one thing in common—an unshakable thirst for Fanta®.
