Noah Cyrus is turning the page, and she’s doing it with a little Southern grit. The Grammy-nominated genre-blurring singer-songwriter recently unveiled her new single “New Country,” a stirring collaboration with country icon Blake Shelton.
The track arrives ahead of her upcoming sophomore album I Want My Loved Ones To Go With Me, out July 11 via RECORDS/Columbia Records, and finds Cyrus embracing a more grounded, roots-driven sound without losing the raw emotion that has defined her artistry.
“New Country” is a heartfelt reflection on transformation and emotional independence. Cyrus, known for her poignant lyricism, shares, “It’s a song about finding a new place in life, about walking on your own two feet, and realizing that change is the only thing that’s constant. The only way out is through.” Blake Shelton’s signature harmonies elevate the track, marking a powerful co-sign that firmly roots Cyrus as a credible voice in modern country music.

The single sets the tone for an album packed with notable collaborations, including Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley, and Bill Callahan. Co-produced by Cyrus alongside Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, the record promises to blend emotional storytelling with expansive sonic textures.
To celebrate the album’s release, Cyrus will headline a special show at The Ford in Los Angeles on July 11 before embarking on a 27-date North American headline tour starting September 12.
“New Country” is now available on all streaming platforms. With its introspective grit and Shelton’s seasoned vocals, it’s clear that Noah Cyrus isn’t just visiting country—she’s staking a claim to it.
