Anne-Marie shares ‘Act II: If You’re Looking For A Reason To Key Your Ex’s Car’

Anne-Marie shares two-track project 'Act II: If You’re Looking For A Reason To Key Your Ex's Car.'

Pop superstar Anne-Marie unveils two-track project Act II: If You’re Looking For A Reason To Key Your Ex’s Car, an impactful follow up to her hit project Act I: If You’re Looking For A New Best Friend.

Continuing her musical series with her signature style of relatability and catchiness, the project consists of guitar-driven breakup anthem “That’s What You Get,” and fiery offering “Knock Knock.” While the former explores the raw emotions of post-breakup sentiments, the latter depicts the undesirable “loser behaviour” of an ex.

Held together by a slice of boldness, one track taps into a relatable desire of wanting the person who hurt you to face consequences while the other looks ahead into moving forward and away from your past love with its no-nonsense vibe.

Speaking of the project, Anne-Marie says, “The only good thing about being mugged off in relationships is being able to write songs about it. So here’s to all the things we wish we could’ve said to our ex’s that we didn’t get the chance to say.”

Undeniably one of the UK’s most successful British breakthrough pop stars of recent years, Anne-Marie never fails to charm and empower us with her powerful yet irresistibly catchy soundscapes.
