Xiao Zhan became the youngest nominee for ‘Best Actor of The Year’ at the CMG China TV Drama Annual Ceremony, as the official Weibo of his hit drama Legend of Zang Hai shared an update on the awards won.
In addition to Xiao Zhan’s impressive nomination for his memorable performance, the drama also won ‘Outstanding TV Series of the Year,’ and ‘Best Overseas Drama of the Year.’
Wins on the technical side included director Cao Yiwen winning ‘Newcomer of the Year,’ Cao Ping earning ‘Producer of the Year’ as well as Liu Chengyi for art direction.
In terms of other acting nominations for the drama, Zhang Jingyi was also nominated as ‘Breakthrough Actress of the Year’ and Huang Jue earned a nomination for ‘Powerful Actor of the Year.’
The CMG China TV Drama Annual Ceremony which took place in January 2026 honored excellence in Chinese television with Legend of Zang Hai gaining recognition.
