Still making Valentine’s plans? If you’re in Chennai and enjoy a day out filled with shopping, food and creativity, then The Madras Flea would be perfect for you.
The very first edition of Madras Flea – The Love Edit aligns with Valentine’s Day to bring you a day filled with vibrant products, scrumptious food, immersive workshops and more.
The curated pop-up event will feature everything from handcrafted creations and artisanal home décor to food brands, and conscious labels.
Community-focused and crafted with passion, this marketplace brings together homegrown brands, independent creators, pre-made food vendors and much more all under one roof.
Shaped not only as a platform for local businesses to showcase their products but an indulgent space for visitors to immerse themselves in a relaxed day of arts, culture and creativity, The Madras Flea is the brainchild from the founder and curator Anirudh, whose Flair Street Events has previously curated amazing pop-up experiences in Chennai.
Speaking of the event, he says : “The Madras Flea is envisioned as a space where people can discover local talent, engage with creative communities, and experience the city’s evolving pop-up culture. This is more than an event for me — it marks the beginning of a platform created with deep intention, love, and belief in homegrown entrepreneurship, especially women-led brands .Your presence, support, and even a simple share can make a meaningful difference, not just for me, but for every entrepreneur taking this brave step.”
With esteemed singer Padma Shri Smt. Bombay Jayashri as the Chief Guest, the Madras Flea – The Love Edit will take place at The Folly, Amethyst, Royapettah, from 11 am to 8pm on Saturday, February 14.
