Jellyfish Entertainment’s K-pop group VERIVERY makes a roaring return with their new single album, Lost and Found.
Their first release since 2023 EP Liminality – EP.DREAM, this latest project is one that embodies the group’s intent of reclamation – inviting listeners to focus on them and their return.
Opening with “RED (Beggin’),” which sees VERIVERY infuse their unique modern twist into The Four Seasons’ famous track “Beggin’” unfurling a nostalgic yet contemporary soundscape that appeals across generations. The accompanying music video elevates this with contrasting scenes of the past and present, paving the way into a new future.
The second track “empty” delivers a hyper-pop instrumentals underscored minimal hip-hop tinges and witty lyricism to capture the chaos of a messy mind and its emotions. The project closes out with the chill R&B stylings of “Cotton Candy (Blame us),” which comes to life as a heartfelt dedication to their fanbase who waited faithfully for new music.
Speaking of the project, the band says, leader DONGHEON says , “VERIVERY members participated in the lyrics or composition for all tracks included in this album to convey the story we’ve been wanting to share with our fans. Please give it a lot of love and support!”
“We’re back after two and a half years, and I hope you look forward to our growth and improvement that are shown in Lost and Found!,” adds youngest member KANGMIN.
Consisting of DONGHEON, GYEHYEON, YEONHO, YONGSEUNG, and KANGMIN, this is VERIVERY’s first music release since members DONGHEON, GYEHYEON, and KANGMIN’s participated on the hit K-pop Survival Program BOYS 2 PLANET.
This short but impactful album is an emotive collection that marks a fresh chapter after their inactivity – acknowledging grief and frustrations while leaving fans something with the hope for what’s to come.
