Indian indie animation studio GD Production drops official teaser for upcoming anime Before Again.
Featuring a hand-drawn, Japanese-style 2d animation similar to the style of Makoto Shinkai’s works, the anime is set in India and will weave plot filled with drama, love, and fantasy.
Directed by Mohd Danish, the story follows a young artist in Delhi who discovers a magical lantern capable of healing his relationships, but with each use bringing irreversible consequences.
The studio plans to release the project in Hindi with an English dub with a consideration being made for other regional dubs as well.
Looking all set to be a project that will appeal a vast range of audiences, the teaser has already earned praise for its vibrant anime-style.
However, the final release format is still undecided between a longer theatrical feature film or a quicker episodic YouTube series.
