Speaking of the unfiltered track, JoJo said, “Heartbreaks can be hard, especially during them… but sometimes when the shock of heartbreak is over it feels like that was literally a waste of time. That happened to me a while back and I decided to write a song about it. I was so won over with love that the heartbreak felt horrible, but then I realized about a week later that was a complete waste of time. I think this song can really resonate with people—it’s a GREAT cry song to get over a breakup. I’ve honestly sent this song to lots of my friends when they go through breakups to get them back on track haha.”
