As anticipation builds for Wicked: For Good — the second half of the two-part film adaptation set to release November 21 — Ariana Grande is extending the magic beyond the screen. Her beauty label, R.E.M. Beauty, has unveiled a limited-edition collaboration inspired by the fantastical world of Oz, blending cinematic storytelling with high-impact color cosmetics.
Launched on October 1, the Wicked: For Good collection marks the brand’s second collaboration with the Wicked franchise, following last year’s sell-out line. This time, the mood deepens. While the previous drop reflected the airy hues of Glinda’s pinks and Elphaba’s greens, the new lineup mirrors the darker, more emotional tone of the upcoming film.

The capsule features nine products across eyes, lips, and complexion — all nodding to the film’s characters and visual universe. At the core of the collection lies the Ozian Forest Eyeshadow Palette, a 12-shade mix of jewel tones, mossy greens, and golden neutrals.
The palette captures what Ariana Grande describes as “a modern take on everything Ozian,” merging shimmer and matte finishes reminiscent of enchanted woods and yellow-brick pathways.

Two themed sets — the Glinda Makeup Set and Elphaba Makeup Set — offer curated selections for devotees of either witch. The Glinda set leans ethereal with pinks and lilacs, while the Elphaba set channels bronze, berry and deep emerald undertones.
Each makeup set includes a combination of blush, lip products, and shadow formulations that mirror their respective characters’ palettes.

Other standouts include the Cherry Blossom Blush Palette, available in pink and coral variations, and the Poppy Plumping Lip Gloss, infused with botanical retinol and cotton seed oil for a gentle, non-stinging volumizing effect.

Completing the lineup are Emerald City Metallic Eyeliners, shimmering in architectural greens and silvers, and Luxury Beautification Undereye Masks, a skincare-leaning addition tinted to evoke Glinda’s bubble and the Tin Man’s gleam.

Speaking to Byrdie in an interview, Ariana Grande explained that the tonal shift in the collection reflects the evolving themes of Wicked: For Good: “The tones and themes of this film are a little bit heavier and darker, so of course, we had to follow suit.”
The collaboration also highlights R.E.M. Beauty’s growing independence. Since reclaiming full ownership from Forma Brands in 2023, Grande has steered her company with renewed creative control, infusing it with projects that merge her artistic worlds. This collection, in particular, feels like a natural intersection of all her identities as a performer producer, and entrepreneur.

And if we talk about numbers, industry analysts are taking note. The first Wicked-inspired drop generated over $15 million in media impact value, according to analytics firm Launchmetrics. Early retail performance and social buzz around the Wicked: For Good release suggest similar traction — a testament to the synergy between entertainment and beauty marketing in today’s landscape.
