Blending uplifting sonics and powerful performance, the seven-track project encapsulate the Gen Z boyband’s hopeful and youthful energy establishing them as a leading force in K-pop.
From the bold synths and jazzy tones of electro-pop title track “COLOR” to the wistful R&B sensibilities of “Baby Blue,” the album is steeped in experimentation and sonic diversity.
The youthful charm and Gen Z sensibility of the band shines brightest on playful number “Cheat Code,” drawing parallels between the journey of love and the adventures of a game character.
Energetic hip-hop offering “Videohood” is yet another imaginative dive into a game world, laden with wit, individuality and self-confidence.
Capturing the sweet bond of a relationship built on sharing reels is honeyed number “Reel-ationship, while “WICHU” with its 2000s R&B style is a dedication to fans.
This rising sub-unit which consists of SION, RIKU, YUSHI, JAEHEE, RYO and SAKUYA, has gone from strength to strength since their 2024 debut.
From claiming top spots on charts to their first performance in London, NCT WISH is letting their light shine and colouring the world with their lush musicality and spirited presence.
